Wish you happy Rama Navami festival. This festival is on Saturday 13th April 2019 and some places it is celebrated on Sunday 14th April.
Lord Rama was born on Navami Tithi during Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. We are celebrating every year as the birthday of Lord Rama. Lord Rama was born during Madhyahna period which is middle of Hindu day. Madhyahna which prevails for six Ghatis (approximately 2 hours and 24 minutes) is the most auspicious time to perform Rama Navami Puja rituals. The mid-point of Madhyahna marks the moment when Shri Rama was born and temples symbolize this moment as the birth moment of Lord Rama. The chanting of Shri Rama and celebration reaches its peak during this time.
Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama and Rama Navami celebrations in Ayodhya are remarkable. Devotees come to Ayodhya from far-flung places. After taking a holy dip into river Sarayu Devotees visit Rama temple to participate in birthday celebrations.
In all Hindu temples all over the world, Rama Navami Festival is celebrated and good congregations of devotees take place with Ramayan Pravachana and Seetha Rama Kalyana and various activities will be conducted.
Some devotees do fast on the day from sunrise to sunset and after the pooja in the evening they take prasadam. Some prefer to do fasting the whole day until next morning.Rama name was given by Vasista Maharishi by combining the letters of NARAYANA and MAHESWARA.
Blessing the child to have the energy of both Narayana and Maheswara in Rama. There are many Lessons to be learnt From Ramayana. I will answer a peculiar one.
Ramayana teaches the duties and responsibilities of each relationship. It portrays ideal relationships like the ideal son, the ideal brother, the ideal husband, the ideal wife, the ideal king and the ideal devotee.
Lord Rama is the epitome of Dharma. He embodies everything that is good, positive and divine. He is known as the Maryada Purushottam. The teachings of Ramayana are relevant in all ages and for everyone to follow a path of righteousness.

We can learn many Lessons from Ramayana, They are :
How one can be an Ideal Son Like Lord Rama.
How can one be an Ideal Brother Like Bharata.
How can one be an Ideal Brother like Lakshman.
How can one be an Ideal Husband Like Lord Rama.
How can one be an Ideal wife Like Sita.
How can one be an Ideal Devotee Like Hanuman.
How can one be an Ideal Friend Like Rama.
It is important One should be humble and treat everyone with respect.
One should maintain a calm and peaceful mind devoid of anger.
One should maintain good company, It is not enough to have a good heart, we need to be careful while choosing friends.
Lord Rama portrays a persona of ‘eternal optimist’.The lesson here is to be an optimist and respond positively even in adverse situations.
Also, Hanuman represents devotion, determination, courage and single-minded focus to accomplish a task.task.Another very important point is that Hanuman’s focus is only on his duty and not the reward. Similarly, we are supposed to focus on our respective duties and not fix our minds on the rewards or benefits.
Ramayana’s glory is endless. It is a true goldmine of knowledge. The principles of Ramayana are beyond any boundaries of time or place. By following these precious principles of life, we can uplift ourselves from ignorance to light. I am also attaching some easy Rama Bhajans and devotees can repeat along with singer.
