Significance of OM

Om, symbolically embodies the divine energy, or Shakti, and its three main characteristics: creation Brahma, preservation Vishnu, and liberation or layakartha Shiva. The mantra, or vibration, derives from Hinduism and is considered to have high spiritual and creative power.

he Om symbol is a combination of curves, a crescent and a dot. The meaning of the Om symbol, while purely looking at its visual form, comes from the states of consciousness that Aum represents.
